Spicy Cranberry Mix Bird Seed is a squirrel resistant bird seed. The seed is coated with hot pepper. Birds can’t taste it, but squirrels hate it. They back off, and the birds keep feeding like nothing changed. Now the seed actually goes where it’s supposed to.
There’s more to it than just spice.
In late summer and fall, the cranberries line up with what birds are already eating. When fruit is part of their natural diet, this mix fits right in.
Outside of that season, it adds something different to a standard seed mix. A bit of fruit mixed in with the seed.
